ScopeSim is a general data simulator for astronomical telescopes and instruments. The METIS package sets up ScopeSim for all major observing modes of METIS both on sky and with the warm calibration unit. The combination ScopeSim/METIS package is the successor to SimMETIS, which in turn was an adaptation of the ELT/Micado data simulator SimCADO.</description>
